Biography

Nancy Barch started her career in art as a freelance illustrator in Philadelphia, receiving commissions from Scottie Tissue Company, McDonalds LPGA Golf Classic and the American Cancer Society. Eventually, Ms. Barch left the commercial art field and entered the fine art arena focusing on watercolor, earning signature membership in the American Watercolor Society in New York, where she served as Vice President for ten years.

Ms. Barch has garnered numerous awards for her work which is included in several private and corporate collections including, Morgan Stanley, AIG and Bank America. In addition, her work has been featured in American Artist Magazine and 100 Artists of the Mid Atlantic published by Amazon in 2011.

After transitioning to mixed media to create her paintings, Ms. Barch has continued to win awards and secure interest from collectors. In addition, she maintains an active teaching schedule, sharing her knowledge and passion for art with others.
